The chapter describes how the existential approach has been applied to other allied disciplines, namely coaching and pastoral care. Existential coaching is used to address areas that coaches will often avoid, such as fundamental existential questions about death and meaning, emotionally charged situations, or specific client groups such as adults with autism.
